i-Ready
i-Ready is an online program for reading and/or mathematics that will help your student’s teacher(s) determine your student’s needs, personalize their learning, and monitor progress throughout the school year. i-Ready allows your teacher(s) to meet your student exactly where they are and provides data to increase your student’s learning gains. Students will regularly be practicing in the classroom with their teacher, however, this program is accessible for home for additional support. i-Ready Login
Imagine Learning
Imagine Learning is an individualized, language and literacy program designed to help English learners, struggling readers, students with disabilities, and early childhood education students master essential reading and speaking skills. Not all students will have access to this program--if you need additional information about whether your child is using this program in his/her classroom, please reach out to your child's teacher for further information. Newsela
Newsela is an instructional content tool that allows teachers to find articles with appropriate reading levels and languages for their students. Newsela articles also feature questions and writing prompts that align with common core standards. Students have access to content such as current events and historical recaps. This website is mainly used for grades 3rd-5th, and then again through high school.
BrainPOP!
BrainPOP is a video platform designed for teaching that uses animated characters to educate students. The two main characters are Moby and Tim, who effectively host the clips and make sure the sometimes complex topics are simple and engaging, even for younger students. Families can sign up on their own and access tons of free videos. BrainPOP
Epic! Books
Epic! works like a digital library. Students can get access to the books they want and read when they like. They can also have their own accounts in which they build up a reading list and rate titles. This leads to personalization of content to help them discover new books and progress though their learning journey. After school hours, Epic's reading selection is limited, so please be aware when using this program. Ask your child's teacher for his/her login information. Get Epic! Login
